Yesterday was national day! The parade this year was great!
There were lots of army tanks and aeroplanes parading at the parade.
Although i did not watch the celebration at the Padang itself, i still got to watch the whole celebration on television, live!
What i think was most memorable was the fire works at the finale and the short video of how singapore actually got its name, Singapura.
This year's national day theme song was great! I love it! i felt that the song,"reach out for the skies'' is very meaningful as it depicts how singapore was not afraid to try and it finally succeeded in being a multi-racial country despite all the riots singapore encounter between the different races when Singapore had just became independent in 1965.
Finally, i wish Singapore all the best in the upcoming years.
